As the first school operated by Sik Sik Yuen, Ke Lap Secondary School was founded in 1969, which started the history of Sik Sik Yuen's education and education. Principal Lai Lok KiWe understand that empathy, communication, problem-solving, and creativity are qualities required by the future society. These abilities are the core of preventing students from being replaced by artificial intelligence (AI), and are also the core direction of school talent cultivation. "These core competencies may seem abstract, but how to integrate them into daily teaching so that students can truly master them is a key issue in school education. As the first school operated by Sik Sik Yuen, our school is located in Wong Tai Sin District, close to the Wong Tai Sin Temple. In line with Sik Sik Yuen's purpose of promoting traditional Chinese excellent morals, school education closely follows the "Values Education Curriculum Framework", focusing on students' moral development and establishing positive values."

The school attaches great importance to "soft skills" such as empathy, cooperation, communication, leadership and problem-solving, and a team of professional teachers has established a consensus to integrate these skills into the teaching of each class. Digital education is at the forefront and strengthens teaching effectiveness

In terms of digital education, Sik Sik Yuen has allocated NT$10 million to develop digital education before the launch of the "Smart Learning and Teaching" project. Therefore, the school can be at the forefront and integrate digital education into daily teaching, allowing students to use digital tools to improve their learning motivation and effectiveness, and to cultivate their own digital literacy. For example, in the teaching of Chinese composition, teachers do not ask students to directly use AI to write compositions, but teach students how to generate a library of materials from ancient and modern times, both at home and abroad, to accumulate materials for writing. The English subject allows students to use AI tools as thinking points, and cooperates with oral training teaching to strengthen students' thinking ability.

In order to allow teachers to better master digital education skills, the school launched action research on digital education this year and organized all teachers to participate in digital education sharing sessions to exchange experiences in classroom application. What we have to do is to allow students to achieve inner growth and strength, and help them build a sense of self-worth, a growth mindset and practical successful experiences." As a popular English middle school, students' learning results have always been obvious to all, and the promotion of growth mindset has made the public examination results even higher. In the past three years, students' DSE scores have steadily improved, and the DSE 2025 scores have broken a ten-year record. In geography and economics subjects, nearly 1 out of every 3 students has achieved Level 5 or above. In mathematics, physics, history and Chinese history, 50% of students achieved Level 4 or above. The ideal results in the public examination affirm the school's development goals. The school pays particular attention to personalized support for students' public examinations. The academic affairs team will use big data statistics to accurately analyze students' learning needs, and then the subject heads will provide targeted examination training. For example, the "STAR" program is launched, so that teachers can arrange one-on-one support for students who are capable of earning stars in each subject or who score 30 points or more in five subjects. This also makes the curriculum planning of each subject more scientific and targeted. In 2025, Li Junjie was admitted to the School of Medicine of the University of Hong Kong with excellent results.
