STEWARDS POOI CHUN KINDERGARTEN is a Christian kindergarten with "Faith, Hope, Love" as its motto. Spiral learning moral course to cultivate the ability to love and be loved

Kindergarten students are in the stage of enlightenment. It is very important to cultivate their moral character and let them learn "love". Therefore, the school borrows biblical stories and adopts spiral teaching to build good character in them. The K1 moral class will start with "creating the world" to teach them to be grateful; the K2 moral class will draw on stories about brave challenges from some biblical characters, so that children can understand that when difficulties occur, they can ask for help from the people around them, and also cultivate their resilience, perseverance and bravery; K3 Morality classes will guide children to learn to love the people around them, love their parents, teachers, and classmates, and help those in need, so that students can become upright, sincere, kind, and empathetic children.

Teachers lead by example, let them feel loved, respected and protected, and cultivate their ability to love and be loved. The school will also launch a moral award program this year, awarding "Mysterious Badges to Children with Good Morality" to reward children with good performance. Principal Shi believes that this program can not only serve as encouragement, but also build children's self-confidence and recognition of their self-image. In addition, the school has also joined the Happy Bee uniform team of the Hong Kong Girl Guides Association. Through the Happy Bee curriculum, group games, stories, crafts and outdoor activities are used to educate children to care for and care for others, and to cultivate them to become good citizens.

Principal Shi hopes that children can learn happily and believes that "children are happiest when they learn while playing." The school adopts a method of integrating learning into games to educate children, hoping to bring teaching goals into games. For example, in English classes, the school will arrange for foreign teachers to take classes, and a dedicated Phonics teacher will provide full English teaching. Three days of English activities will be arranged for children every week, and daily theme activities will also be conducted in the form of games.

During free play time, the school will implement the "3E elements" of empowerment, exploration and expression. By empowering children, they can discuss, explore and verify the use of some game materials without setting rules. Principal Shi said: "Students can discover problems during the process, and then use their imagination and problem-solving skills independently. At the same time, they can also learn to express themselves and communicate with others in a polite way." In addition, a variety of Montessori teaching aids will be placed in each classroom for children to use. Teachers can evaluate children's learning progress through observation and understand their shortcomings, thereby guiding them to master areas that they do not understand thoroughly.
