In order to improve the artistic quality of students, the school began to provide musical theater training many years ago, aiming to cultivate students' artistic talents and provide diversified stages beyond academic studies to enhance their self-confidence. The school is well-known in academic musicals, and it recently performed a public performance at the Y Auditorium of Chai Wan Youth Square, performing the original musical "The Vomiting Girls" to commemorate the school's 40th anniversary. The school adheres to the educational philosophy of "Everyone can step on the Qingsong stage, and success is not about success, but growth." We firmly believe that as long as students give their all, work as a team, and accept applause on the stage, they can bring changes to their lives.

As early as a year ago, the school started auditioning. The actors are all from Form 2 to Form 5. Training will begin in September 2023. The 30 selected students will receive training in dance, drama and singing. As an original musical, "Vomiting Girls" has a script written by the school's assistant principal, Li Yaoming. He is an experienced screenwriter who has written scripts for many theater companies. The lyrics in the play were composed by school teachers. "Vomiting Girls" is a drama, about 1 hour and 40 minutes in length, including 13 scenes and more than a dozen original songs and dances. It places very high demands on students. The musical was professionally produced and the level was surprising. On the day of the performance, two guests from the theater industry were invited to share their views, including Zhang Feifan and Chen Enshuo. They were deeply moved by the enthusiasm of the production team and affirmed the school's determination to support students in pursuing their dreams, and brought meaningful positive messages through the play.

Focus on values education and cultivate the characteristics of "Qingsong people"
