Hon Wah College (Primary Section) is committed to integrating English context into daily life. Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays are English days, and Tuesdays and Fridays are Mandarin days, so that students can learn and use English and Mandarin flexibly and become international talents. The school has 4 foreign teachers. English, science and visual arts subjects are all taught in English, actively creating interesting English classes. In order to take care of the diversity of students' learning, Vice Principal Ou Huishan, the head of the primary school, promotes brain science teaching strategies, higher-order thinking teaching and cooperative learning methods to help students integrate English knowledge to enhance their learning motivation and self-confidence.

School-based special English courses, diversified learning to improve application ability

The school is committed to developing a comprehensive and balanced school-based English curriculum - the "Shuttle English Classic Drama Integration into Diversified Learning Plan", and implements cross-curricular reading in English subjects in grades one to six. Foreign teachers and English teachers work together to teach, allowing students to read books of different types and themes before class, and then conduct colorful learning activities in class. During the reading process, the school also introduces higher-order thinking and drama teaching to encourage students to think and discuss, deepen learning content, and promote peer interaction.
