| language_policy | To create a conducive language learning environment, English and Putonghua are our school official languages. Students are required to communicate with teachers in English and Putonghua on campus. English is our medium of instruction. Chinese language lessons are conducted in Putonghua at S.1 as well as S.2 and selected classes at S.3 onwards. To enhance students’ language proficiency, we encourage our students to take part in international language examinations such as IELTS. Every year, a variety of language programmes such as drama, musical, debating and public speaking are organised to enrich our language learning environment. |

| others | Our inquiry-based learning fosters a culture of innovation and excellence in technology education. Our students have achieved remarkable success across disciplines on local, national, and international stages. Our Robotics Team ranked World Top 20 in the Ranger Class at the MATE ROV International Championship 2025. Domestically, they earned 1st Runner-up in the 20th IET/MATE Hong Kong Regional ROV Competition, Best Engineering Award in the 5th Mini Robocon, and Best Team Award with 2nd Runner-up in the BattleAce – Combat Robot Workshop and Competition. The Invention Team continued its legacy with the Smart Wardrobe and Intelilight projects. Their achievements include Champion at the PolyU Fun-Tech Competition 2024, 1st Runner-up in the Hong Kong VPET Competition 2024/25, Electronics Innovation and Design Competition of the 18th CTEA Cup, and Best Innovation Award at the IET Young Professionals Exhibition & Competition 2024. They also secured 1st Runner-up in the Hong Kong Student Science Project Competition 2025. Our LEGO Team excelled in multiple competitions, securing 1st Runner-up in Robotics Intelligence DIY 2024, and 2 First Prize Awards in the Robotic Tournament Creative Technology Robotic Competition of the 18th CTEA Cup. They also became Champion in the senior rescue mission section at the Junior Robotics Tournament Hong Kong 2025 and won 2 Silver and 1 Bronze Awards at the World Robotics Olympiad 2025. Our AI Team earned Best Manual Control in the AI Formula for Secondary School in Hong Kong. The Physics Team had an outstanding year, winning 3 Gold and 3 Bronze Awards in the Hong Kong Young Physicists’ Tournament 2025, and a Bronze Award at the International Young Physicists’ Tournament in Sweden. They also earned Top 20, Honorable Mention for Schools, and 2 Third Class Honors in the Physics Olympiad 2025. Our Chemistry researchers joined symposia in England, Singapore, Hawaii, New Zealand and USA to present findings. Representing Hong Kong at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Los Angeles, our Chemistry Team also participated in the 7th European Chemical Science Congress in Liverpool to present studies on Turmeric and Green Tea for Alzheimer’s prevention, and Synthesis of High Oil-affinity Ester Molecules for household detergents. In recent years, they have won Champion for a Lipstick Product in a cosmetic competition. Our invention was recognized in CityU Science Patent Challenge 2022, receiving Silver Award and a Patent in Hong Kong. We secured 2nd Runner-up for our face cleansing gel product in the same competition in the following year. Our researchers entered the 2023 Wish Builder Programme – Chinese Medicine Mobile Game Design Course and Competition, securing First Runner-Up and Most Popular Game Award. To cultivate global perspectives, students joined overseas exchange tours for all-round development, including visits to Beijing, Hunan, Guizhou, Shandong, Laos, Singapore, New Zealand and France, Science Study Tours in Tokyo and Jiangxi, World Scholar’s Cup (Global Round) in Seoul and Tournament of Champions at Yale University. In language, we won champions in Solo Verse Speaking, Prose Reading, Dramatic Scenes, etc. in the Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival. Our English Musical Team received awards including Outstanding Script, Performer, Stage Effects, Cooperation and Overall Performance. Non-academically, our Athletic, Badminton, Basketball, Cross Country, Football, Table Tennis and Rope Skipping Teams achieved impressive results in inter-school and territory-wide competitions. Our Swimming Team earned 12 overall champions and 4 first runners-up in Po Leung Kuk Affiliated Secondary Schools Joint Swimming Gala for 16 consecutive years.
