language_policyInfuse English elements in the teaching of various subjects in junior forms and offer S.3 summer bridging courses to better equip students with the abilities to switch to learning using English as medium of instruction in senior forms. To build up an English rich learning environment for our students, we have Native-speaking English Teacher conducting oral training. We also arrange a wide varieties of learning activities such as the CMT radio, English Speaking Days with the English Ambassadors, English on Campus, English Morning Assembly, Student English Morning Talk, English Week, English Club, English Corner, English Drama Show, English Camp and English Study Tour. A Self-access Learning Centre has been established to help students acquire mastery of 2 languages and 3 dialects. Implement Language Across the Curriculum Policy in various subjects to strengthen language training of students. oa_orientation_activities_n_healthy_lifeAll S.1 students have to attend English Bridging Course in August. Orientation Day and Campus Tour are held for parents and students at the end of August. Orientation programme is also arranged in early September to assist students to adapt to secondary school life.
1. By means of Home Economics curriculum, we introduce healthy life style topics, like meal planning, balanced diet and nutrition etc.
2. Encourage the selling of healthy food in the tuck shop.
3. We aim at training up the physical fitness of our students through PE lessons and various sports activities.
4. During the summer vacation, the Athletics Team arranges training classes, and the Design and Technology School Team holds interest classes.

A number of Scholarships, Homework Awards and Self-challenge Improvement Awards are established to recognize students' outstanding academic performance. Various arts, science, commercial and practical subjects are offered and good range of electives, which meet the interests and abilities of S.4 to S.6 students, is available. Students enjoy flexibility in taking subjects across stream.

life_planning_educationIn junior forms, Tung Wah Group of Hospitals offers the “My Way Life Planning Education Project for Secondary School Students” to help students understand their personal qualities, interests and talents. This programme also assists students in gaining insight into the nature of different subjects and professions, preparing them for the subject selection in Form 3.

In senior forms, various assessments of students' abilities and inclinations are conducted to help them identify their strengths and unique characteristics. Additionally, activities such as workplace visits, alumni sharing sessions, JUPAS talks, mock interviews, and mock release of HKDSE results provide students with diverse information to help them plan for their future pathways.

Our school's Life Planning Committee has established “The Dreamcatchers”, which regularly offers various professional courses such as “Professional Sand Art Courses” and “Korean-style Aromatherapy Candle Certification Courses”. Collaboration with other committees has also yielded fruitful results, particularly the success of a school fair where students could demonstrate their creativity and marketing skills. whole_school_approach_cater_for_learner_diversity1. We have Junior Form English, Chinese and Mathematics remedial groups to assist academically less-able students to build up a more solid foundation.
2. Students failing to submit homework are required to attend lunch-time and after-school tutorial classes, under teachers' supervision, to complete their homework.
3. We have SEN Student Support Team to plan and provide services to students with special educational needs.
4. S.1 students are supported in their academic studies by the Peer Counsellor Scheme.

adaptation_for_learning_and_assessmentUsing continuous assessment including a combination of assignments, projects, tests and examinations to measure the performance of students throughout the academic year. Two uniform tests and two examinations, supplemented by quizzes, are held in a year.
