language_policyOur school adopts Chinese as the medium of instruction. To enhance English proficiency, we hire a full-time NET and arrange small class teaching in English lessons for F.1-6. Besides, we arrange English enrichment courses and extended learning activities (ELA) in English in 13 subjects. We also encourage students to sit for international English assessments such as Cambridge English, TOEIC and IELTS.

Our School emphasizes students' development of character and nurture the sense of national identity. We set up a Buddhism and Moral Values Team to instill students with proper values and global perspectives through form teacher periods, Buddhism Lessons, different subjects and academic weeks.
2. Reading to Learn
The school has arranged reading periods, reading channel and Academic Weeks to promote cross-curricular reading with different themes. Individual subject also offers thematic reading policies.
At the same time, many book exhibitions, book sharing sessions and author talks are held each year to promote the reading culture in school.

Three teachers' development days are held every year to allow teachers to learn from one another, exchange teaching experiences and insights to enhance the effectiveness of learning and teaching. We also introduce educationists and experts to work with teachers to enhance the quality of the curriculum.
life_wide_learningSchool not only places emphasis on classroom learning but also endeavor to promote after-class activities. A total of over 325 events has been arranged annually, holding a record of more than 5800 students. The headcount of voluntary work is over 400. Our school sets up a "Talents Development" scheme offering more than 40 clubs, school teams and interest clubs. Among them, the Robot Team, the Dragon and Lion Dance Team, AYP, ROBOMASTER and Visual
Arts Team have represented Hong Kong to take part in overseas competitions and won the world champions, to name just a few. othersIncredible results have been achieved by students in worldwide competitions:
1. In 2024, a student was awarded the Hong Kong Jockey Club Striding On Scholarship for his outstanding academic achievements, his unwavering spirit in the face of adversity, and his contributions and vision to community service. Another student was awarded the Ng Teng Fong Scholarship 2024 in recognition of her outstanding performance in academic and service.
2. Our school has brilliant performances in STEAM, students represented China and Hong Kong to join robotic competitions and were awarded the worldwide championship. In 2024, the Robotics R&D Team performed exceptionally well at the 43rd RoboOne competition in Japan, winning the MISMI Award, the Autonomous Robot Prize, and the AI Robot Prize, along with a 200,000 yen cash prize and prizes. In June 2025, the Robotics R&D Team emerged victorious from a field of 52 teams at the 36th Asian Intelligent Robotics Competition in Taiwan, demonstrating their exceptional technical prowess.
3. The Lion and Dragon Dance Team has won several times of the Hong Kong Champion and even a world champion in the competition held in Malaysia. The team also won the championship in the Secondary Schools Lion Dance Free Equipment Formation category at the 2024 and 2025 Hong Kong Open Schools Dragon Lion Dance Championships.
4. A student won the Junior Secondary Category of the 2023-2024 Hong Kong Grantham Visual Arts Award Competition and received a prize of HK$8,000 in 2024.
5. Our students won four awards in the 2024 Hong Kong Youth Skills Competition (Fashion Technology), including championship, first runner-up, and second runner-up in the Senior Secondary and Junior Secondary Category.
6. From 2021 to 2025, a total of 16 students from our school received the Gold Badge in the Hong Kong Award for Young People (AYP) presented by Mr. Lee Ka-chiu, the Chief Executive while another group of 19 students received the Silver Badge from Mr. Chan Kwok-kei, the Chief Secretary for Administration of Hong Kong.
7. Six students participated in the "Hong Kong Flower Show 2025- Hong Kong Student Flower Exhibit Competition," winning one championship, two third runner-up, and two merit awards, showcasing their creativity and skills.
8. The 2025 A-grade boys' basketball team won the second place in the Kowloon District Inter-School Competition whereas the 2025 B-grade girls' volleyball team also won the second place in the Kowloon District Inter-School Volleyball Competition.
9. Our students won the Secondary School Championship in the Radio Drama (Mandarin) category of the 2024/25 Hong Kong School Reading Competition with their original radio drama.
10. Our school's drama club won both the "Outstanding Award" and "Merit Award" at the 2025 Hong Kong Drama Festival.
