| language_policy | The school adopts English as the medium of instruction in all classes and most of the subjects. To strengthen students’ ability in learning other subjects in English, we allocate extra resources to foster a language rich environment. Daily activities, such as announcements, assemblies, and school events are conducted in English supplemented by Putonghua and Cantonese to ensure that our students are biliterate and trilingual. | others | Each year, our students consistently excel in inter-school competitions. In Languages, they have received the Best Performance and Star of Literature Awards in the Final Round of the Chinese Secondary School Students Essay Competition, the Star Award and Gold Medal in the Chinese Language Elite Program, as well as gold and silver awards in English debating and writing at the World Scholar’s Cup Tournament of Champions. In STEAM, our students have won the championship title in the ASTRON SPACE LAB 3 competition, a bronze medal at the 49th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, and multiple gold medals in international mathematics competitions. One student also earned the “Best Delegation” award at a Model United Nations Conference in London, showcasing his strong grasp of global affairs and issues. Furthermore, our students have been recognized with prestigious accolades such as the Hong Kong Outstanding Teens Award (Social Participation Section), SCMP Student of the Year Awards (Best Devotion to School and Best Improvements) and 2nd Runner-up titles (Community Contributor and Sportsmanship), as well as the Hok Yau Club Outstanding Student Leaders Award.
