language_policy	Since 2009-2010, we have fine-tuned our language policy. English lesson depends on the actual abilities of our students. Different English activities hold in lunch time. Also, we design diversified courses for the more able students. Native-speaking English Teachers (NET) train up listening and speaking. English is adopted as the Medium of Instruction for Maths, Integrated Science, Computer & Information Technology, Physics and Chemistry in some of our junior secondary classes. Besides, English is adopted as the Medium of Instruction for Maths, Mathematics Extended Parts (Module 2) and Chemistry in some of our senior secondary classes. Putonghua is adopted as the Medium of Instruction for Chinese in our junior secondary classes. School-based Cantonese is as senior secondary classes.

oa_s1_admission	Our school will accept discretionary places. Our school will participate in the Secondary School Places Allocation System through central allocation stage (Applicable for admission to S.1 in September 2026 ).Interview (25%), Extra-curricular Activities or Services (10%), Conduct (25%), and Academic Results (EDB rank order list and Student P.5 and P.6 results) (40%).
oa_orientation_activities_n_healthy_life	A orientation camp is organized on campus in late August for all F.1 students to allow them to get used to the new school environment as well as to build good learning habits. A briefing session is organized for the new students' parents to establish better home-school relationship, allowing our F.1 students to adapt to their school life.

We focus on students’ subject knowledge acquisition, keeping in mind to cater for their learning diversities. life_planning_education	Through one-on-one counseling, group counselling, some life exploration activities, aptitude test and alumni collaboration, we invite alumni to share further study and working experience, helping students set their clear life goals and fulfill their dreams to study in universities. Our school follows through our 6-year life planning program to develop students' ability, interest and career. In order to realize local and overseas life planning, we arrange personal study and activities.
whole_school_approach_cater_for_learner_diversity	Different reinforcement learning courses are provided, such as subject enhancement courses, enrichment courses, Immersion Professional Development Programme and SEN homework support courses to offer assistance to students with diverse learning needs.
whole_school_approach_integrated_education	Our school adopts the whole school approach in implementing integrated education. Students with special education needs are supported by the Student Study Support Team (including vice-principal (Learn & Teach) and SENCO, members of the team, SEN ATs, coaching teacher, teaching assistant, etc). In raise teachers’ professional competence, teachers are nominated to take courses related to integrated education. With parents’ consent, the team collects students’ information so as to identify students’ education needs and offer support for the students. Our school also adopts a flexible approach in making use of the Learning Support Grant and other school resources to provide diverse support to students, including SEN ATs and coaching teacher. Support also comprises homework tutoring, interpersonal skills’ training and individual counselling. Service like clinical psychologist is also provided to students with related needs. To meet students’ diverse learning needs and raise their learning efficacy, curriculum design, diverse teaching strategies, graded exercise, homework and assessment accommodations are also adopted. Our school works closely with the EDB, the education psychologist, social worker and other professionals to conduct meetings regularly. Parents are also invited to join them to formulate individualized education plan and evaluate its effectiveness on a regular basis so as to assist parents to teach their children well.
support_for_non_chinese_students	Our school provides additional support for NCS students to facilitate their learning of Chinese: providing after-school support programmes in learning Chinese; and organising activities to create an inclusive learning environment in the school.
adaptation_for_learning_and_assessment	The academic year is divided into three terms and there are three examinations throughout the whole year. Each term consists of an examination and continuous assessment. We also offer appropriate learning and assessment adaptation for students with SEN. There are special exam rooms for some students.
fee_remission	Our school offers full school fee remission, 3/4, 1/2 or 1/4 school fee remission. Needy students, including those from families receiving the Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) and students receiving financial assistance provided by the Student Finance Office of the Working Family and Student Financial Assistance Agency (WFSFAA), could apply for fee remission. - Newly admitted students could apply for the school fee remission 2 week(s) before the commencement of the new school year. Application results will be announced within 2 month(s) after submission of applications. After parents have submitted application forms, we will assess the financial situation of students according to the assessment criteria set by the Student Financial Assistant Agency. life_wide_learning	Our school has our own Student Union, Form Houses, and more than 20 functioning groups encompassing 5 different areas such as academics, arts, physical education, personal interests and services. We organize various school-wide activities regularly, such as sports days, singing contests, local and cross-border study tours, etc. We strongly encourage students to participate in many voluntary services inside and outside school, even mandating all Form Four and Form Five students to join some.
