In enhancing the communication between the school and parents, our school also holds Introductory Parents' Day for S.1 Parents, and Parents' Day for all parents.
Our school also encourages students to maintain a balanced nutrient intake and healthy body. For instance, Healthy Breakfasts are served every Tuesday & Thursday, and Morning Jogging is also held. learning_and_teaching_strategiesOur school provides a diversified curriculum catering students with different ability and aspirations. Apart from our regular curriculum, our school also provide different Applied Learning & Qualification Framework Courses, widening our students' future academic and career path. Students are divided into small learning groups based on their learning needs in core subjects such as Chinese, English and Mathematics, in order to serve both remedial and enhancement purposes. The Learning Support Team comprises SENCO, SEN Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Social Workers and Educational Psychologist. The 'Positive Chamber' is established to providing a comfortable learning environment for SEN students.
A "whole-school approach" is adopted to support students with special education needs. In order to provide students with appropriate support, LSG is used for outsourcing speech therapy, occupational therapy. Moreover, reading and writing training for SEN students, social skills training for students with autism, concentration skills for ADHD students.
Information on SEN students will regularly be released to all teaching staff. Teachers review teaching progress and adapt curriculum through collaborative lesson planning. Special arrangements have been made, such as extended examination time, special examination venue & screen reader.
support_for_non_chinese_studentsOur school provides additional support for NCS students to facilitate their learning of Chinese: arranging intensive Chinese learning and teaching mode(s), e.g. pull-out learning if necessary, split-class/group learning, etc.; and organising activities to create an inclusive learning environment in the school. Our school has developed a series of tailored curriculum in accordance with the Chinese proficiency level of NCS students. An internal assessment tool specially designed for NCS students will be used to determine their levels. They will then be divided into four learning groups:

b. In our junior secondary school, we implement a Multiple Intelligences Learning Program.
