language_policy	According to the Policy of Fine-tuning of Medium of Instruction for Secondary Schools, we have some subjects taught in English for the EMI capable S.1 students. To master the basic skills for bi-literacy and tri-lingualism, enhancement courses are tailor-made for our students. There are also English Week and various reading schemes to enrich students' interest and ability in language learning.

life_planning_education	Our school places great emphasis on Career and Life Planning Education. Through a wide variety of career and life planning activities, we aim at broadening students’ horizons, assisting them in building up positive values and guiding them to plan their life proactively. At junior levels, we instill the important concept of career and life planning. Through various activities, including visits and workshops, students are trained to know more about themselves, and explore and discover their potentials. A wide variety of activities, for instance, seminars on Senior Secondary Curriculum’s subject choices, alumni sharing sessions, consultation day on elective subjects, career aptitude test and group counselling, are organized to raise S.3 students’ awareness of selecting the most suitable elective subjects in their senior secondary years. At senior levels, numerous activities such as Career and Life Planning Camp, multiple pathways talk, Mock Release of HKDSE Results, alumni sharing, career mentorship programme, visits to tertiary institutes and exhibition on tertiary education are arranged for senior students to keep them abreast of the information about multiple pathways. Moreover, our school strongly supports and encourages students to participate in careers explorations and job placement. Through company programmes, visiting to different companies and job shadowing activities, students are able to taste the experiences of working in authentic workplaces so as to get a deeper understanding of the different job categories and situations available in society.

whole_school_approach_cater_for_learner_diversity	To cater for students' diverse learning needs, small class teaching as well as remedial and enhancement classes are conducted.
whole_school_approach_integrated_education	Through an inter-professional team model closely monitored by Principal, Assistant Principal, the SEN coordinator, Student Support Team, educational psychologist, speech therapist, occupational therapist and social worker, our school promotes ‘whole-school participation’ integrated education. Our school emphasizes home-school cooperation and provides parents with a "Student Support Summary" every year and invites relevant parents to participate in ‘Individual Learning Plan’ meetings. Different school functional groups work closely to formulate support plans, curriculum and teaching adjustments, and special arrangements for examinations and assessments for students with special educational needs to cater for the learning needs of students with autism and dyslexia, and strengthens social and emotional management education. At the same time, our school's educational psychologist will also conduct cognitive or literacy assessments for students with special educational needs to arrange support or apply for special examination arrangements for the Diploma of Secondary Education Examination. Our school also introduces appropriate assistive devices, such as screen readers and speech-to-text software, to provide students with good training and learning opportunities and eliminate their learning barriers. Our school flexibly uses the Learning Support Grant and Grant for Supporting Non-Chinese Speaking Students with Special Education Needs to support students with different special learning needs, providing different types of after-school learning support classes, life planning activities, social training groups, individual learning plans, professional services, music stress relief activities and so on.

teacher_pro_training_and_dev	Staff Development & Mentoring Committee organizes three Staff Development Days, with workshops, seminars, talks and group discussions to enhance teaching professionalism. Our school sends information about teacher professional development to teachers through mobile phone apps, and promote the culture of lesson observation to allow teachers to share teaching ideas. To help our new teachers adapt to the new working environment, a mentoring programme is established. Moreover, our school encourages teachers to participate actively in training courses, workshops and seminars provided by the EDB and other educational institutes.
