| language_policy | Our school’s language education policy aims at enabling our students to become biliterate and trilingual. Under the fine-tuned medium of instruction (MOI) policy, we make good use of the advantage of mother-tongue teaching to strengthen students’ high-order thinking ability. Moreover, approximately 15% of the curriculum in some junior form subjects adopt English as MOI to increase students’ interest, proficiency and confidence in using English. Besides, our school's English musicals allow students to develop their potential and build successful learning experiences. We also have Putonghua lessons in junior forms, English/Putonghua morning assembly and overseas exchange programmes to create chances for students to use these two languages. |
