| language_policy | 1) The College uses mainly English as the medium of instruction. Some lessons may be conducted in Cantonese or in Putonghua, depending on the lesson. Assemblies are conducted either in English or Putonghua while visiting speakers may use Cantonese. 2) The College joined the Direct Subsidy Scheme (DSS) in September 2008. This allows curriculum flexibility—offering more electives, school-based subjects, and local and international examination opportunities. Learning another language should enhance their academic and linguistic development. 3) To echo the policy of the Hong Kong Government to develop Hong Kong as a regional educational hub, we have an exchange and immersion programme for students to develop a national multi-cultural and global outlook. |

| others | Academic Scholarships: Academic scholarships are awarded based on academic merits, ranking and good conduct. Current S.1-S.3 and S.4-S.5 (C, D, H, J classes) students who rank in the top five places of their grade will be offered full scholarship in the form of a 100% school fee remission. Students who rank between the sixth and tenth places will be offered half scholarships in the form of a 50% school fee remission. S.4-S.5 (L, Y classes), the top two: 100%, the third to fifth: 50%. All those who get the S.1 admission scholarship and rank among the top 10% in the following year, will be offered full scholarship, or between 10.1%-15%, half scholarship. Non-academic scholarships: Scholarships will be awarded to students for their excellent performance in sports, music, visual arts or special talents. Other subsidies/allowances: The school will use its best efforts in conjunction with other suitable resources, to assist students with financial needs.
