language_policy1. Our school adopts both Chinese and English as medium of instruction. In S.1 to S.3, in addition to English subject, Mathematics and Science are taught in English by class. In S.4 to S.6, English is adopted as the medium of instruction in Mathematics and some electives in some classes.  
2. Our English lessons are conducted in small groups in most of the classes. An English Speaking Day is held every Thursday so that students have more opportunities to communicate with others in English. The English Corner also provides a good environment for students to do oral practice.

oa_orientation_activities_n_healthy_lifeNew S.1 students need to participate in learning skills lessons, a bridging course and some orientation activities held in mid-August. In late August, students will join a camp for integration into the new secondary school life and a parents' day will also be held to let parents understand the school’s mission, environment, expectations and requirements for students.
The school has a green kitchen to provide students with a balanced lunch, rice and vegetables are freshly cooked in the school kitchen on the same day.
S.1 & S.2 students are required to have lunch at school.

school_organisationA school development committee has been set up, which is composed of the principal, vice-principals, subject panels and unit heads, and is responsible for discussing and formulating school policies. The school organization is mainly divided into three areas: learning and teaching, student development, and school management. There are multiple task forces under it to coordinate academic, administrative affairs, religious and moral education, student affairs, discipline work, information technology, extracurricular activities, Teacher professional development and other groups.

For the Tier 1 support, our school focuses on building a caring culture on campus, and cares for the spiritual and mental health development of students through different activities. For the Tier 2 support, SST offers students training in social skills, executive functioning, and concentration, supplemented by various therapy groups to provide tailored support. Furthermore, through diverse school-based program groups, our team assists students in building self-confidence, developing leadership skills, reducing academic stress, and cultivating positive values. Regarding learning support, we organise study skills workshops and after-school support classes specifically designed for students with weaker learning abilities. Also, parent group organised by school social workers promotes parent-school cooperation which is of crucial importance to our school. Parents could learn parent-child communication skills and have peer support. Besides, SST also provides teacher training sessions to equip them with knowledge in students' mental health and development. For the Tier 3 support, SST provides individual support such as counselling services, growth groups and speech therapy according to the needs of individual students in order to help them to develop their potential and grow healthily and happily.

The "Father Adelio Lambertoni Charity Fund" offers emergency assistance for students who have problems with daily life due to sudden changes in the family.
