language_policy	Our school is dedicated to cultivate competent language ability for our students; in Chinese and English language subjects, we will allocate more resources for our senior students by implementing small-group teaching based on student's language abilities, in order to meet different learning needs among students. To create a better English language learning environment, our school has an 'English Day' every week', 'English Morning Assembly' hosted by our students, 'English Song Dedication', 'English Movie Appreciation', and many other English activities during lunch time. Also, with the support from our school sponsoring body, one extra NET (native English teacher) and one English teacher are hired this year. Our school believes that through more speaking practices with the help of two NETs, and substantial manpower provided to English teaching team, a rich and effective English learning environment can be well established for implementing small-group teaching.

oa_orientation_activities_n_healthy_life	An orientation programme is held in August before the start of the school year. The school organizes a cross-curricular program entitled Healthy Week to promote the awareness of the importance of healthy life. The purpose is to help students develop a good eating habit, constant practice of physical exercise and the positive attitude towards healthy living. Both the tuck shop and the lunch supplier have to provide food which is low-sugar, low-salt and low-fat.

imc_smc_mc	The IMC has been established in 1 September, 2009.
school_green_policy	The establishment of our Conservation Unit aims at implementing environmental protection measures, including the reduction of energy consumed and the collection of waste paper in our campus. Meanwhile, with the adoption of a food waste disposer to nurture students’ awareness of conserving the environment, cherishing our resources and recycling waste materials. In particular, junior students are advised to use environmentally-friendly eating utensils and reduce the disposal of waste materials. Our students are also encouraged to participate in the Conservation Ambassador Scheme of the Environmental Protection Department. Besides, our school has been giving great support to the events organized by environmental organizations, such as Hong Kong No Air-Con Night and Earth Hour held by Green Sense and World Wide Fund respectively.

Curriculum highlights: (1) English oral lessons for senior forms are conducted by 3 English teachers to provide students with more opportunities to practice and receive more personal feedback for further improvement. (2) A school-based course on arts is made available in new senior secondary curriculum. 5 modules are open to students including Music, Visual Arts, Digital Arts, various types of Dances and Drama. whole_school_approach_cater_for_learner_diversity	The Students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Care Team implements a comprehensive approach in accordance with the inclusive education policy. Students are grouped according to their proficiencies, and the curriculum, teaching pedagogies, and assessments are customized to meet the needs of each teaching group. The Big Brother Big Sister Programme has been implemented to foster a nurturing and supportive campus environment that promotes harmony among students. A range of classes, including remedial and enhancement tutorials, after-school homework guidance classes, English classes for Newly-arrived Children (NAC), and an Orientation course for Newly-arrived Children, have been introduced to assist students in establishing a solid foundation for their future studies.

Our school promotes whole-school approach as most of our departments are involved in helping SEN students: Academic Committee, Counselling and Discipline Committees, Life Planning, Sustainability Development & Gifted Education Committee, Extra-Curricular Activities Committee, Moral, Civic and National Education Committee and Exam Unit and so on, aiming to provide comprehensive care to students.
