| oa_orientation_activities_n_healthy_life | An 'Induction Program' is tailor-made for S.1 students. The objectives of the program are to nurture students to become independent and responsible learners and to help students develop clear learning goals and paths. Through cultivating good learning and reading habits, we aim to develop a purpose-driven attitude among students. In the 'Big Brother, Big Sister' scheme, appointed senior students are trained to help S.1 students adapt to their new school life. 'Big Brothers' and 'Big Sisters' will share study skills, time management skills, examination techniques and interpersonal skills with them. Summer activities include S.1 Orientation Day and the bridging course. All students join the School Physical Fitness Award Scheme organized by the Hong Kong Childhealth Foundation and Education Bureau. Activities are organized to improve students’ physical fitness like Active Friday and health information is shared to promote a healthy lifestyle. Furthermore, the Campus Station, Chinese and English Debate Clubs, Orchestra, Kyudo Club, Cross Country Team, Volunteer Service Team and other types of extra-curricular activities are also channels to help our students develop a healthy lifestyle. We have adopted a Whole School Approach to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). To address the diverse needs of our SEN students, we have established a Student Support Team. The core members include the Vice Principal, SEN Coordinator, Student Guidance Mistress, Discipline Master, Careers Guidance Mistress, School Social Worker, and Educational Psychologist. To enhance teachers' professional capacity in supporting students with SEN, we arrange for staff to participate in structured Basic, Advanced, and Thematic (BAT) Courses offered by the Education Bureau. These courses facilitate the implementation of integrated education through our Whole School Approach. We utilize the Learning Support Grant (LSG) to employ a Student Counselor and Teaching Assistants who provide tailored support for students in need. Additionally, the LSG is allocated to purchase various services, including Individual Psychotherapy, School-based Speech Therapy, Social Skills Training, and learning support. Moreover, we have employed a school-based Educational Psychologist to assist with early identification and accommodation of SEN needs. This professional conducts necessary assessments and provides counseling to students facing learning challenges, helping them adjust to the school curriculum. We also offer special examination arrangements for SEN students as required. Multi-disciplinary case conferences are held to develop Individual Educational Plans (IEPs), ensuring better adjustment for SEN students. |

Loh Chi Ching got the Merit Award in the Tuen Mun Outstanding Student Election 2025 and Tuen Mun Excellent Student Award. 3. 2023/24 graduate Cherry Wan Ching Wa was awarded the "Hong Kong Jockey Club Striding On Scholarship". This award recognizes her outstanding academic performance and exceptional contributions to serving the community over the past few years. 4. 2023/24 graduate Torres Yung was awarded the "Link University Scholarship". This award recognizes his outstanding performance in his HKDSE last year. 5. Ms Tsoi Hiu Laam won the Merit Award in the “Life Event’ Presentation Slides Design Competition” organized by the Moral, Civic and National Education Section of the Education Bureau. 6. Lam Tsz Yan (S.6) got Merit Award in “Future Star . Wen Wei Po Scholarship 2024”. 7. Fan Hiu Ching(S.5) participated in the "Strive for Success" Youth Challenge Program organized by the Tuen Mun District Home Affairs Department. After six months of training and service, she successfully passed two rounds of interviews and was offered the chance to travel to France for an exchange program in April. 8. Our Cross Country Team had brilliant performance in the Panasonic Hong Kong Cross Country Championships 2024. We got the 2nd Runner-up in Women's Junior Team. 9.
