language_policyWith emphasizing the importance of English in learning and the significance of mother-tongue teaching, we follow the objective of enhancing students' proficiency both in English and Chinese Language. school_based_curriculum1. Electives: 2X. In the Senior Secondary Curriculum, the school offers 11 elective subjects. Two senior secondary electives are selected by students themselves according to their interests and abilities. Students are required to take one subject of Applied Learning.

Life Wide Learning: Our school aims at promoting life-wide learning. In junior form, focus has been put on cross-curricular learning and teaching. For senior form, we intend to provide a variety of Other Learning Experience (OLE), including volunteer, workplace, sports, arts and religious activities, etc. in order to enhance teacher-student interaction, develop self-directed learning and broaden the horizons of our students. "Life-wide Learning Day" for different levels of students to take part in the exploration of various themes, through which students can enhance their generic skills and whole-person development by applying research and presentation of learning outcomes, and develop their life-long learning skills.
Extensive Reading Programme: A range of reading events such as reading Carnival, Life-wide Learning Day have been launched. There are also school-based morning reading sessions, book sharing, library information, reading club and other inter-school reading competitions. All these have strategically built a reading environment in the school. To create a reading platform, students are encouraged to promote books and take part in interviews with writers or celebrities. This year, we started cross-curricular reading and led students to a study trip about reading culture in Mainland.
Learning with Information Technology: To promote interactive learning with information technology, much resources have been put on establishing an effective, energetic and creative learning area which aims at developing students’ spirit of inquiry and creativity. In recent years, we have also shown great success and development in STEAM Education. We are the Microsoft Showcase School. A instructor is hired in order to work for Career & Life-Planning as well as organize comprehensive career guidance activities for S.1–S.6 students. whole_school_approach_cater_for_learner_diversityGifted students are spotted at an early stage so that students are able to receive an independent gifted curriculum in accordance with their personality, interests and learning needs. Gifted students are recommended to participate in courses offered by different organizations. The school has also been arranging those, who are gifted, to participate in activities organized by local universities, professional companies and non-government organizations, aiming at helping gifted students to learn from another perspective and helping them discover their talents, such as leadership, creativity, social skills and humanity development.

Using the Learning Support Grant, the school outsources services to provide targeted support: foundational Chinese training for SEN students, and interest/service groups to unlock students' potential.
It regularly shares SEN support information with all teachers at school affairs meetings to aid student assistance. Appropriate exam accommodations are offered, including separate venues, extended time and assistive devices.
Additionally, a special Parents' Day is held for parents of S.1 new SEN students, creating a communication platform to boost home-school cooperation.
