school_organisationThe School was founded by The Hong Kong Council of the Church of Christ in China. In September 2007, the school established its Incorporated Management Committee which is responsible for the direction and development of the School. KLC has adopted school-based management for years. After IMC has decided the overall development direction, the school will be empowered to exercise her school-based management for the whole-person development of all students.
imc_smc_mcThe IMC was established in September 2007 and there are in total 15 members. It consists of representatives from various professionals such as education, religion, business and other professionals, and representatives from Alumni, parents and teachers.

- Students are actively engaged in developing their self-understanding of their own interests, needs and exploration pathways for further development. We offer students extensive opportunities to discover and develop their personal qualities, gifts and talents through academic curriculum and a great diversity of experiential learning programmes.

- A school-based and integrated curriculum with a focus of whole-person development and positive value education is developed to foster students to be “College Ready, Life Ready”.
major_renewed_emphases_in_the_school_curriculum(1) Reading to Learn: Chinese and English Reading Scheme is implemented every year.
(2) Information Technology for Interactive Learning: The Internet is effectively used as a learning tool for interactive learning. An IT Prefect is assigned in each class to help promote interactive learning by using information technology.
(3) Project Learning: Besides project-based activities, research skills training and cross-curriculum project are covered in classes.
(4) Moral and Civic Education: 'Whole-person development' is emphasized at our College. We aim at instilling in students a proper set of Christian values and a strong sense of social responsibility for China, Hong Kong and the world to arouse their social, national as well as global awareness through social services and other cultural exchange activities. Positive attitudes and values are shared during the Morning Assembly, Weekly Assembly, Class Teacher periods and Life Education.
life_planning_educationOne of the educational aims of CCC Kung Lee College is to prepare students to be ‘College Ready, Life Ready’. Students can be well prepared for further study, career development and entry into adulthood.

Through the intensive internship programme and experiential learning at workplace, students can gain a better understanding of the real world and learn how to communicate with people and deal with problems through the authentic environment before entering into the society.

Authentic learning enables students to enhance their specialized skills and interpersonal skills so as to improve their adaptability in the future. Our College has a close connection with the business industry, collaborating to initiate pre-employment experience and provide a variety of internship opportunities for students.
whole_school_approach_cater_for_learner_diversity(1) Each teacher takes up the role as a personal tutor to take care of a small group of students. All teachers are responsible for student discipline and counselling;
(2) Staff professional development in teaching NSS curriculum and catering for learner diversity is offered;
(3) Diversified learning mode is promoted and the curriculum is designed to cater for diverse learners' needs;
(4) Diversified evaluation format is adopted;
(5) Collaborative lesson plan and peer class observation is promoted to enhance effective practices to address learner diversity;
(6) Diversified remedial and enhancement tutorials are offered after school for both strong and weak students;
(7) Aptitude / academic ability test is arranged for admitted students;
(8) Skills training courses / taster courses are offered to meet the various learning needs and interests of students;

fee_remissionOur school offers full school fee remission or 1/2 school fee remission. Student Aid & Scholarship Committee (SASC) offers Full Grant=60% and Half Grant=30% for Needy students, including those from families receiving the Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) and students receiving financial assistance provided by the Student Finance Office of the Working Family and Student Financial Assistance Agency (WFSFAA), could apply for fee remission.
- Newly admitted students could apply for the school fee remission 1 month(s) after the commencement of the new school year. Application results will be announced within 1 month(s) after submission of applications.
