curriculum_planning"Our school places great emphasis on developing children's language skills. Effective communication not only helps children engage with different cultures but also broadens their social networks and horizons. We adopt a ''one teacher, one language'' policy and an ''immersive'' language strategy. Beyond the designated daily thematic discussion time, Chinese, English, or Putonghua teachers conduct group activities in the classroom. This allows children to use two written languages and three spoken languages in real-life contexts to communicate with classmates and teachers daily. We will follow the “Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide” (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation."
